Privacy notice

PDFTechnician is designed so file processing happens locally in your browser. Files you add to the tools are not uploaded to PDFTechnician servers by these static tools.

What we process

Core tool features run on your device. PDFTechnician does not receive the PDFs, images, invoice details, or pasted text you add to the live browser tools.

We use necessary browser storage to remember privacy choices and support local tool features such as saved invoice details or local templates. This data stays in your browser unless you export it or clear your browser storage.

If optional analytics or advertising are enabled, they only run according to the consent choices you make. Public IDs for GA4 and AdSense are configured separately, and guide-page ad slots remain inactive until both consent and those public IDs are present.

Advertising and consent

Personalised ads for UK, EEA, and Swiss users must not be served unless legally valid consent has been collected. For Google publisher ads, a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework is required for personalised ads in those regions.

Local storage and clearing data

You can remove locally saved tool data by using the clear/reset controls inside each tool where available, or by clearing site data for pdftechnician.com in your browser settings.

Lawful basis

Necessary site storage is used to provide the service you request. Optional analytics, advertising storage, and personalised advertising will rely on your consent where required.

Your choices

You can reject optional cookies, save granular choices, or change your choices at any time.

Contact and controller details

PDFTechnician is operated as the website publisher for pdftechnician.com. For privacy questions, contact hello@pdftechnician.com.

If you are in the UK or EEA, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal data. Because the main tools process files locally, PDFTechnician usually does not hold copies of the files or text you use in the tools.
